After getting his masters degree from psychology at Eötvös Loránd University, Mr. Vaskuti gained qualification as clinical children’s psychologist. He has got more than 30 years experience with ’unmanagable’ children and their families. He has worked in the First Pediatrist Institution alongside Peter Popper, the XI. and XII. district Pedagogical Counsel, the Child Welfare Ministration and several public schools, children’s home in Hungary, Israel and Srí Lanka.
Gained in-depth knowledge about the full spectrum of child’s protection systems, led multiple children’s homes focusing on deviant teenagers (Soroksári street Youth Hostel, Szilágyi Erzsébet Children’s Home for the antisocial girls betweens the ages 12-18, and FŐTASI, a group home-system designed by Mr. Vaskuti, handed over for use in 1998).
In the latter years, he – together with his associates – has developed an adventure therapy-method in Srí Lanka (within the framework of Chance Program) for ’unmanagable’ hungarian children and teenagers. The method provides a positive and lasting change in the lives of kids and their families alike.
